| Yep. So I was on my way to work and I was getting off of the highway, the intersection that is right off of the highway, its light turned yellow. There was a truck next to me and since it was raining all last night, the ground was wet. She started to go into my lane and as soon as I went over the crosswalk line we collided. Everyone is okay and we did not get the cops nor the insurance involved. I just didn't have the time for it and I didn't need my insure to go up or any other complications that might have happened. My driver's side mirror broke off but I was able to glue it back on. The back door is a bit dented and I think there's a small dent on the front door and the plastic bumper on my driver's side is now missing, but besides all that, its alright. I think I put too much glue on it and I need to clean it up as well as the scuff marks. The intersection is always bad for accidents and bottom line, I'm just glad that everyone was okay. I'm a bit shocked that I;'m not a wreak afterwards, My heart was pounding, but that was about it. I had fun at work and I was really upbeat. Go figure. I took too pics that I'll post in a few. Good thing my car isn't tiny or it could have been worse. I like to call my car "the boat". Lives up to the name, I guess.

As long as I'm not hearing anything like 'it hit the passenger side so hard that I was in the hospital and had them work on my hips to the point where there's solid steel going through more than half of it and every time I walk now it hurts like a prick and will for the rest of my life...' ...well, I think we can call that lucky it didn't get any worse than that.
Glad you're okay though. I know my mother and sister were involved in one not but a few months ago. My sister would've been less lucky and my mother a little faster, it would've been a direct collide into her. Worst they got was whiplash out of it. So really you gotta just be lucky in that stuff, I guess.

I'm trying to process that post (and it's a doozy); the gist I got was
- Sideswiped
- Not something that was due purely to stupidity (i.e. running a red light), just bad conditions
- No big harm done
Assuming those, at least nothing went horribly wrong and everybody came out of it fine, heh

| At first I thought she was trying to make a right hand turn from the wrong lane. But yea, I could be here all day thinking of a bunch of what-ifs, but its done and over with.

I'm guessing that you at least got contact information, yeah? It may cost a bit if you want to fix whatever damage is in the first picture.

Nope. The mirror was a quick $5.00 fix. But I went a bit glue crazy and now I have to find a way to clean up the excess glue. 
So far two people at work were shocked to find out that I didn't try to get money off of this lady. One of the guys that I work with told me that he was hit before and since the guy who hit him didn't want to get the cops involved, the guy that I know took all the money out of the other guy's wallet. I wouldn't feel right if I did something like that.
