We pretty much need 1,818.94 to pay for bills, rent and to fix my car (which is $583.94) and we've only got $1,250 as of the 4th of April.

I absolutely hate to ask for money but I had no choice, so I just asked my dad to borrow $500 to help us out. I've never asked him for money before, and it felt a bit odd, he was the only who brought it up too, I guess he knew from the tone of my voice.

That's saving all right.

Oh, I 'save' myself but I don't have the money when I need it.

Which I've nearly paid off, and which I use for my personal business / also for my current employment, and I claim on tax. I bought it a year ago and it replaced my 12" iBook G4. It is used primarily for web design.

I save money, I save an Emergency Fund and stuff, but my credit card has not really recovered from Christmas and I don't help by doing things like buying kittens.

But I wuv my fuzzy little kitten

Could be worse.

You could ask for a 1600 dollar pay advance from your job that allows it and get docked 100 per check every week. :\

Hey, guess who's getting that right now.

A financial aid advisor told me that this Starbucks latte that cost me $3.50 right now will cost me $15 dollars when I start paying back my loans. So yeah, food for thought.

Anyways, I am fairly good about my spending, except when I splurge. I spent almost $600 on a Wii, some Wii accessories, and 6 games. Since I was using financial aid money, it will cost me $900 when I finish paying the money back

Yeah, I have a tendency to splurge, but when I don't I'm pretty cautious about my spending. Definitely need to stop doing that.

Could be worse, you could not get it.

This is why you pay back your loans as fast as possible.

The cost of every thing you buy will go up with time as you don't pay it. Needless to say, the faster you do so, the less everything will cost.

You should get scholarships. I go to community college for practically free--and when my turn here is done, it'll just take about 2 years or so at the big College to get a BS in Computer Science and Engineering, which is enough to get the standard jobs in the field--but do I settle for that? No. If I can do it, I'll probably go all the way for a PHD.

Of course, I'm a crazy student.

My money goes into the bank and comes out when I need something. (Like a Wii, or an iPod, or golf clubs, etc.. )

But I was working 5 days a week on two jobs over the summer So I made like 2k+ in two months. This year will be interesting... spending + no job =/= income :/
