People with a severe mental condition shouldn't be allowed to leave a mental facility until they're not showing as many symptoms or as severe symptons, as a lot of problems that happen are caused by mental illness.

Anyway, this is yet another issue of humanity's decline...it seems as if people try to do whatever they want and expect to get away with it.

Medication solves a lot of those problems. The only issue arises when the person gets off the medication for some reason or another. It's impractical to force them to stay purely to get medicated like that, and usually you can just make sure someone checks that they're getting the proper medication occasionally.

EDIT: Also, depression doesn't make you rape old people. I'm sorry, but it just doesn't.

Fixed that for you. There are a lot of people who technically have "mental conditions", but you would never know it unless they told you or you were close friends, because the side effects are almost nothing.

It's not that simple. Many (if not most) mental conditions can be controlled via therapy and/or medication, but never completely cured. You can't just "get over it".

There are always going to be people out there with undiagnosed conditions, or who have stopped taking their medications, or still have problems even with medication.
