Basically, what's the best video card to get that's at least 256MB and under $100? I've been looking around but I don't know much about computer hardware so I don't know how exactly to compare these and see which one has what.

A list of what you speak of.

But what is your form factor? PCI-E? AGP? VESA?

Oops forgot to mention that; it's AGP.

Hmm. I'm looking to sell my barely-used BFG GeForce 7800GS OC for $100. It's a VERY good card, and I'd probably still be using it today if I hadn't upgraded to a PCI-E motherboard.

Interested?

Not buttering up Flonne or anything but that's a really good deal on that card, considering you can get the same price on only a 7600 GS for the same price plus shipping.

As far as I could tell, TigerDirect didn't have a 7800 GS on their site...nor did Newegg since it shows it to be deactivated (old and out of print, must've sold well). Even the BFG model is out of stock, deactivated and it now runs anywhere from 200-300 dollars online elsewhere. In essence, you're getting your money's worth and then some.

I'd hit it. If it's 256MB DDR3, that's a pretty good card for a lowly AGP.

Very. I'll get back to you about that either before Wednesday or ~8days from now (going on sort of a mini-vacation Wed-Sun). What exactly are the specs of it?

Mumbo-jumbo plus comparison...

Pretty sure this surpasses my RADEON X1550 by a longshot...and I paid 80 for that.
