Cleaned it yet? Dust is the first thing to catch it. If that's not the case, how old is it? Likely a bearing's about to go south in it or a fan blade's cracked and you need to buy a new one. The only real thing you need to figure out there is the socket type for your processor and then buy a new one. Average fans last a good three to five years under heavy use and they cost about 20. I took the time to buy a fanless for mine. It's just a gigantic heatsink that cost 60 bucks. ____________________
