Probably. All I know is that the amount of work that these people went through to get this guy in trouble for something that was done how long ago kinda makes me wonder if they just didn't have it in for him...

Umm... PETA is a bit psycho. There is simply put nothing worth saying about them that wasn't said before.

And the difference is that you tend not to hit cows with cattle prods as a joke. Much less with police property. The concern was more over why the guy was doing with it than what the actual action inflicted.

I think the punishment fit the offense. It's only two weeks, and it was a pretty dumb thing to do.
