This trailer is awesome
All I will say about it is that it has the graphic style of cave story with some really cool game play elements as saying anything more would spoil the surprise. Just trust me when I say that this is a must watch.

This bears a little too much resemblance to Cave Story.
The "3-d rotation" element also seems like it would be a mess to get aquainted to.

| It looks neat and if it's done right, you can hack the graphics and whatnot to look less cave story like. This looks like a fun game to edit, and of course play. |

Neeto, kinda like Super Paper Mario on steroids. Although, I can already tell having to constantly change perspective like the trailer shows will undoubtedly get annoying/disorienting/tedious.

I have to agree, the sign graphic looks practically identical. Aside from the obvious resemblance graphically though, it looks pretty awesome. It's a unique concept as far as gameplay goes, that's for sure.

After watching the trailer, it almost seems like a puzzle more than a platformer...
Also: It's a lot different from Super Paper Mario. In SPM, it's 2D -> 3D, but in this, it's 2D North -> 2D West -> 2D South -> 2D East. Also, in SPM, you had a timer for staying in 3D. Although, I have to say the graphics are far too much like Cave Story to ignore. :/ |
