Its not that bad, though. There are definitely worse shows out there with gore, but its sure as hell creepy.

See that's the thing...senseless gore is dumb, not too believable and is really a turn-off most times.

This one's easy enough on it but is purely psychologically destructive...

Somehow I imagine somebody screaming bloody murder, tons of blood splattering all over the wall, then panning over to the person who has a bandaid on their finger (from poking it with a staple or something equally absurd). That's amusing!

Strangely I could play Silent Hill but probably wouldn't manage to stand this.

Try someone who's about ready to be killed but rather than have the person come up who's stalking them like a tiger and finish them off, they instead thrust a butcher knife against the wall and then go to town slamming themselves up against the wall. Gallon splurt.

Being able to do this with no NPCs or enemies makes this best; when the only person you have is... yourself.

If only there were more games like this.
