Jul - Post #2307 - 02-21-08 10:51:40pm I'm disappointed, but really only because it's Sony. Neither one appealed to me with their prices, DRM, and general lack of availability. They treated it as if it were as big a difference as VHS to DVD, when it was a lot less. Even though I preferred HD-DVD for being slightly less anti-user, I wasn't planning to buy either of them, so meh.
(Though I am surprised given the apparent popularity of each. I mean you hear "09F9" and everyone immediately identifies it as the HD-DVD key; few seem to even know that Blu-ray discs used the same key. It just seemed like nobody gave a damn about Blu-ray except the occasional HD fanatic who likes it because it can theoretically have higher video quality.) ____________________ |
