DK '94 has to be one of my favorite GB games of all time. I've never beaten it, but I have some fond childhood memories of it.

It actually took me about a year after playing MvDK1 to realize I was playing an updated DK '94. I played a level which required grabbing a wire of some sort and realized that mario's spinning was taken straight from DK '94. After that, all the similarities started pouring out.

Okay, I only just played the first world, I can say this is great fun.

I just wish I could have played it on my Gameboy.

If someone hadn't already mapped this game, that's where I'd be going next. You know, to complete the trilogy.


Edit: And those "you draw the ground" blocks are amazing.

Yeah, the pants leg covered up the details, so I tried to compensate with the shading.

And this is the fun part where I edit my layout until I find a really really good color scheme!

Boy I hate this process of the layout, moreso than finding source images for some of this stuff. I was REALLY lucky with finding Ashley related pictures for my last layout, let alone Rena images. Heh, I just cut these from backgrounds I had.
