India's Internet bandwidth has been sliced in half, The Associated Press reported, leaving its lucrative outsourcing industry trying to reroute traffic to satellites and other cables through Asia.

I hope this is permanent and internet failures continue to cripple business operations because outsourcing is fucking stupid.

Although outsourcing is stupid, it must suck to not have internet where you live in.
What if you need the internet to stay sane?

I wouldn't like to have no chance to go to the internet because of a broken cable .

If this kills outsourcing a little, I'm happy.

On the other hand, the internet is the best weapon against fundamentalist beliefs.. ...then again, it can also be used to spread them.

I guess what I'm trying to say this there's bad and good sides to this, but the definite bad is the people who have internet there not getting it. Although when I don't get my internet connection I find something to do anyway. I have books n' video games n' mountains n' stuff.
