Also ITG background videos are overused.

Hell they decided to reuse them in Pro for their "original BGAs" like PIU, although they are not even like that at all.

It should be noted that this is basically nothing but 10 seconds in Paint and changing three lines in MiniSM's hard-coded configuration. That is, "make measures bigger", "use this image for measures", and "read dance-double instead of -single". It doesn't parse any differently, which is why this might remind you of Pac-Man.

Another one of those "easier than anticipated" moments, at least when it comes to coding... I had a lot of problems focusing long enough to actually get anything done, but once I did, well...


Partially implemented. I've been playing with different noteskin ideas, too:
Old Style - New Style

The current one is a mix of both, but keeping the (much) brighter blue notes from New Style.


... This is only partial support. Some things still need to be added, like support for the HTML generating side. Of course, other modes could be added too, like dance-versus (?) or whatever the other ones were.

Padded a bit today.

Did pretty good on this.

Bunch of other songs, ranging from UR WEIRD M8 to Phantom of the Opera Dance Mix. Don't remember anything else.


Just to let you know arrow colors on pad make no difference in readability... for me at least.

The only difference is he's actually good at what he does (unlike MANY there) and the simfile is actually solid for pad.

Being on staff there is regardless of the point.

Seriously, aside from the steps that count as 100 in a combo and the nutcase mods it displays it doesn't look much different. Then again, I haven't seen many if any Pump vids so this must be pretty off-the-wall for it.

Well yea...I thought that every chart stage in a given song was like that in PIU. It was really the only difference I could see between DDR/ITG and PIU for that...which would be nice if DDR had such a thing.

Make my SM making that much more of a fun thing, that's for sure.

Well in NX2 they completely redid the engine. They can overlay stepcharts over other stepcharts to where you see one stepchart but have to step another (video) as well as crazy BPM changes and just... wtf things (video).
