y1 = x * (some value) + (another value)
y2 = x * (some other value) + (yet another value)


y1 and y2 will eventually meet.

This should be common knowledge.

Dude...I learned that in FIRST GRADE when I looked at a THERMOMETER. You know...those things that show the temperature? It blew my mind too way back then and it blew my mind when I learned the formula for how to do it a few years later.

Anyways, aside from making more fun out of this rofl...-40C alone, as in the cold however, does blow my mind. I don't think I've been in colder than -30F here w/ wind chill and having to be outside in it for large periods of time (not in car). It's the coldest I've seen Illinois get in the central region.

Would I steal a car though? Unless I was in a position of life and death and wasn't smart enough to go...you know...indoors...it might run through my mind.

Fun fact: I didn't know 40 C was the same as 40 F until now (never checked) but I have the panache not to call people idiots over things I don't know are correct or not first, therefore no loss of dignity. :p

But these people are silly; I think it's just an excuse. If it was 70 degrees F they'd probably have stolen it anyway.

F = 9/5(-40) + 32

F = -360/5 + 32

F = -72 + 32

F = -40

Anyways, I can't imagine weather being THAT cold. I wouldn't even bother leaving the house.

Yeah, if it's -40, I'd be staying inside. Besides, if you have to break the window to get into the car, isn't it pointless? You can't really "keep warm" with a hole in the window.
