Hello my name is Kles and I like Elite Beat Agents

What do you mean it was in your pants when it went in to the wash

Well is it okay

What to do mean it broke in to four pieces

God damn it

Yeah don't ever lend your cartridges out if you value your saved games.

The only instance of that happening was when the dog decided to munch on my Mario Kart DS cartridge...

It didn't survive, but considering I didn't like that game at all, I didn't really mind

I've had Mario Kart DS go through the wash once. Works perfectly fine (and smelled fresh when it did go through :approve

The last time a cartridge of ours went through the wash it was Pokémon Yellow Version, and it still worked perfectly fine after that. Other than theft, we haven't really lost a game or had it destroyed/damaged beyond use.

Who didn't survive? The game or the dog? OR BOTH.

Super Mario 64 DS survived going through the wash. It didn't survive when i needed a cartridge shell to stick a PCB in, though.

I still think my greatest loss to date happened from my sister (when she was 9 and I was 16) literally killed me on a game loss.

One day I went to startup FF VII and got a disc read error on it in my PSX. I was pissed as it was because I keep those discs in pristine shape...but when I looked at the back of it...

[scratched to hell image shown here]

...I about died. Come to find out that my sister said she got something on it and USED THE CARPET TO CLEAN IT. SHE CARPET-MUNCHED MY FF VII DISC!

Needless to say, brotherly love was the only thing keeping me from denting in her skull...I was incredibly pissed. I STILL haven't replaced the disc (though should).

Kirby Super Star...

After a while doing speedruns, I want to play it just for fun.

It doesn't start up.

I hit eject... and the game simply breaks to pieces.

Does having a broken Gamecube count?
It doesn't read most games properly. Yet the Wii runs them fine.

Sounds like a "laser wearing out" problem. My Gamecube is that way, too, but I've got a friend's so it doesn't matter too much

Yeah, my Pokemon Pearl survived going through the washer and drier. Savegame's even still intact.

(Oh, any my third-party Gamecube memory card is still fine after doing that once or twice. Unreliable? Uh huh.)

Third-party GCN memory cards aren't actually that bad. Unless you get the overly huge ones, apparently they have a tendency to die.

Yeah, the only games that don't work on my Gamecube are Melee and Super Monkey Ball (the odd time)

Meh. By March 10th Melee will be long forgotten

I've had very good luck with game consoles and games (though I have a few I haven't played in awhile and therefore very well could be dead)... The only thing that comes to mind right now is a corrupt Pokemon Red cartridge (it crashes when it attempts to display text), and I have two copies of that game anyway

I once had a broken Super Mario World cartridge that let me see what was inside of it . It still worked, but we had to put duct tape all over it. I also had a really scratched-up disk for the PS2, but I forgot where it went (or what it was for that matter ).

The bunny once munched up Madden for the DS. I actually thought it was funny but my sister was upset ._. (her bunny)

I usually take very good care of my games though!!
