My entire psychiatric assessment. Hmm... I think I won't post that here. I nearly did then I realised what it was!

You can have a little bit of it though.

Taryn has had fluctuating mood and periods of significant depression. She has mixed neurovegetative features. This is consistent with a diagnosis of Major Depression, of moderate severity.

She has also had some periods of hyperactivity, but insufficient symptoms to make a diagnosis of either hypomania or mania. I do not consider that she has had a Bipolar Disorder. The episodes of increased activity have occurred while she has been taking antidepressants, which may or may not have contributed. A diagnosis of Cyclothymia could be considered, but I would be reluctant to make this diagnosis with the information to hand at this time. A proviso is that given Taryn's age it is still possible that she may have an emerging disorder. While this needs to be clinically considered when she is reviewed, I do not think she needs to be particularly concerned about this prospect at the current time.

Therefore, at this stage, major depression is the most likely diagnosis. Some people with depression have a "manic defence", a psychological defence where without becoming clinically manic they drive themselves with activities and routine as a way of putting their depression at a distance. This is likely to be a contributor to Taryn's hyperactivity.
