it's just a puppy!
i'd literally get sad when there'd be easy ways to defeat them instead of unchaining them free
you should be allowed to pet them more, like the good steel sharply toothed metal orbs they are

i also really like podoboos. i like the concept of, just, living lava-elemental friend. i like to imagine they just excitedly jump around minding their thing, and only incidentially burn you because they're lava and have no concept beyond setting everything on fire. they also have a simple but cute design that appeals to me

also nipper plants. i tend to like plant creatures in general, and mario has a surprising amount of those, and these are kind of adorable. very specifically, a nipper plant in smb3 that only appears in 7-8 on top of a single block that is mostly invincible and breathes a lot of fire, more than anything else in the whole game, at you. it's the only one that exists, similar to the red snifit in mario 2, but to the extent it never showed up again.

no no no, cool things are by definition the things i like

this is a very powerful ability you too can unlock

it takes really liking things, and telling yourself that it's something worthwhile and good and appreciating your own liking of it

that is how things become "cool", when you develop your own sense of worth from them, independant of the world

"cool" is to stay true to your heart and passion-- because "coolness" is not a property of the things themselves, it's somethiny you do

if your passion is mario enemies, then this passion in itself, makes it cool

so don't just like cool things
make the things you like the cool things, cherish that passion
