What resolution is it, I wonder? The article said it was "4 times the resolution of their current display", but it didn't say what their current display is.

In the category of "ridiculous monitors", we also have a prototype of an alienware curved monitor.

(Those of you with NoScript, you can only see the images if you allow gawker.com, for some reason.

Good luck fitting that 150" in your house

The ultra-wide screen looks interesting too ... it's like a dual wide 19" (same resolution), but without the separating edges in the middle


Then there's that 30" + 4x vertical 20" setup (going for over $4000) someone linked to on IRC earlier, I think its total resolution was 7360x1600 ... more than twice the width of my 27" + 19", which is already huge

What the crap? It says something about them combining 4 monitors into 1 or something, and apparently it/they run(s) natively at 2880x900, which is insane widescreen resolution.

Edit: However that resolution pales in comparison to Acmlm's posted "7360x1600" .
