Before I forget, for a couple of years (again). Wanted to share something I discovered a while back.

Here's some of the oddities I have came across:

Some back story... I extracted the FMV's from the PSX version of FF7 into individual frames. I then used some AI upscaleing software and then merged the frames back into video form. These videos were uploaded here:

Didn't want the massive group of images to "go to waste" so I uploaded them to Google Photos. That's when I seen that the facial recognition was adding new "people". Specifically it was Barrett's face in the airplane that I first noticed.

There's more pictures than what's in the google link above, where the face was over top of the character models face. The ones in the links above were just the most interesting to me...

The AI was trained to recognize faces and fill in face-like features.

The AI isn't perfect, so sometimes it'll fill in a face where it shouldn't.
