I use Sennheiser HD 599s the vast majority of the time. For portability, I use Shure SE 215s or good ol Porta Pros. The latter two are comparatively very bassy, which I like outside when I just wanna drown things out and have a more straightforward "fun" sound. For normal listening, though, it's all neutrality all the time for me.

Porta Pros also have their ancient aesthetic from back in the day. For being still made, they're really good for their price. I know they are very commonly modded in a lot of scenes, due to this.

for some reason when i wear headphones regularly it starts to cut up the part of my skin that connects my earlobe and my head?? it's kind of a scab, mostly just raw skin. i don't know why it happens but it makes me tire of wearing headphones

only posting this here because i found nothing when trying to google about it

Sounds like you're wearing on-ear or the ones you have are way too tight around your ears. The ones I typically have on are over-ear and don't usually touch the ears at all.

The headphones I always use is the Anker Soundcore Life Q30, they're not the absolute best as far as sound quality for price goes but the active noise cancellation has been absolutely magical to me, it blocks out so much noise that used to bother me when listening to music or playing games and even when I'm not listening to music it's so nice to be able to just block out all the sound around me

It doesn't do too much for loud environments like a bus but at home they're absolute bliss hehe, and it actually really amazed me how much it helps me focus in games when all I can hear is the game itself

There's better ANC headphones you can get, but I got these ones in particular because of the price, especially because it was on sale when I got it, I feel like these are pretty good value for the price, especially since I can use them both wired and Bluetooth, though the Bluetooth codec support is a bit lacking

It's been a weird extra burden to have to now charge my headphones every once in a while even when I mainly use them wired (you can use them without power when wired, but I'm using them for the ANC in the first place so I need to keep them charged), but the battery at least lasts a good long time so it's rare that I ever have to do so
