i think Bowser is quite underrated, sadly. a complex, misunderstood figure.

he's portrayed as kidnapping women, but Mario also serves unquestioningly the interests of the Mushroom Kingdom. why should we care about this status quo, in which Toads have domination over Koopas, Goombas, and Yoshis, all of which appear to be colonial subjects that have been marginalised to the outskirts of the kingdom, when they do live in the kingdom?

never mind the fact that the Koopas that live in the Koopa kingdom are forced to live in inhospitable volcanic places. i don't suppose people choose to live there just because they're evil… i'm convinced that Bowser kidnaps Peach for political and economic reasons. i think it says a lot that Koopas and Goombas will align themselves with Bowser and support him, rather than just revolting against him.

Yeah why would Bowser kidnap women but not hurt them? I simply think he's in love with Peach and he doesn't want Mario to have her! So he sends his minions to get rid of Mario, Because in Mario Odyssey Bowser tries to marry her, And in Super Paper Mario he was forced to marry Peach by Count Bleck and he was really happy about marrying her but she didn't like it.
