I only like functional polls, myself. Those with too many possibilities/no reason to be a poll simply fail and need to be converted to normal topics.

But that's my pragmatic nature speaking.

So how did you feel about the Astrology / Chinese Astrology ones?

Personally I did find it interesting that you can see at a glance what most people are / are not. I also found it interesting that I could see right away that nobody was born in the Year of the Snake.

There are n finite poll choices in those. They make perfect sense.

On the other hand, the traffic sign one forgot to take into account the dizzying array of traffic signs, and the choices were haphazard. Therefore it had no business being a poll.

Xkeeper appears to have a similar opinion, considering the Astrology ones (Well, two of them at least) are still around and the others got smacked.
