I'll be going off to do some today, with luck. Of course it could wind up being my Mom buying my gift cards so I can spend the money where I want--but that depends if Wal-mart allows you to buy phone airtime with gift cards.

I just bought a pair of pants, where I got a 1/3rd discount. And a guitarholderwhatchamacallit... uh, a thing to put the guitar on, guitar stand so that it won't occupy my chair... but I didn't get any discount on that one.

Shopping isn't something I do very often. Only when I need (new) stuff.

I returned from Wal-mart--somewhat the worse for wear. It was like the end of the world in there. People running around everywhere, blocking all the aisles, talking, babies crying...

I obtained a Coleman Propane Lantern for my trip (With autostart and other nifty features), an S-video cable, a cannister of propane, and an ice cream drumstick.

Yeah. Not exciting. Well, Wal-mart was a mess. I was content to look, but my Mom and Sister wanted to get out there ASAP. I had to pick and choose really fast.

My parents went in Wal-Mart last week. Apparently it was insane I wonder why.
They had absolutely nothing in electronics. Almost all the Wii games were gone Which sucks. My Uncle found a sweet deal on Mercury Madness Revolution. 10 bucks for a Wii game! I'm envious

We don't have Wal-Mart here. I think this is a good thing.

Rundle Mall has been a bit crazy though. But it can be like that a bit during the School Holidays anyway...

I went to Wal-Mart myself last week as well...I almost 180'd out the door because of the lines and the angry southerners.

Honestly, it's better than angry northerners. They just don't know what angry is down here, thankfully.

Were some more people than usual at the mall(s) I went to, but it was nothing compared to what it was right before christmas. People everywhere, after two seconds, I turned and walked out. Couldn't see anything, just people.

Yeah, my family completely avoided Wal-Mart after December 15th until Boxing Day.

Here in Puerto Rico, as well as in other Spanish-speaking countries, we celebrate a tradition known as Día de Reyes (Three Kings' Day) on January 6th. This is supposed to commemorate the three magi visiting Jesus and presenting him with the gifts of gold, incense and myrrh.

In short: It's our second Christmas.

I got:

-Nintendo Wii (fuck YES)
-Super Mario Galaxy (fuck YES)
-Metroid Prime 3 (fuck YES)
-How to Draw Manga vol. 4
-Two shirts
-$40

CISSION MOMPLETE

See you in two weeks
