| Anyone else into IF? What are your favorites, what have you been playing lately, and just generally what do you value in the form? While my favorite is Jeremy Freese's Violet, the most interesting piece of IF I've played recently is a classic I feel silly for not having played earlier, Emily Short's Galatea, which is brilliant and honestly humbled me when I tried to write about it. I love this shit so much, and I'd love to hear what others here are into :o ____________________ Knowing that there are no victorious causes, I have a liking for lost causes: they require an uncontaminated soul, equal to its defeat as to its temporary victories. |

Hmmm...
Oh. VNs. Yea, a few. I mean, if that avatar didn't give that one away for Type-Moon investment. Still waiting on Mahou Tsukai no Yoru to be finished up for translation but the last one I would've invested time on would've been the Grisaia series. Stopped around Phantom Trigger Volume 2. Mostly due to time investment constraints as of late.

IF as a term usually excludes VNs and keeps it to mostly text-based stuff, but that's more of a difference of history and audience...since plenty of hypertext art including graphics like Twine stuff is near-universally considered IF.
