I deleted about 70 users today (give or take). Turns out a decent amount of user spam had been hanging around for, uh, seven years or so. Kind of surprising. Most of it was just your typical profile spammer; at least one of them had a cool "how to get ransomware" link in their bio.

I'm considering deleting every user that registered but never logged in (and never posted). I can't really see a reason not to; they're dead accounts with no information other than a name, by definition.

The only reason not to I can imagine is that maybe some active or previously active users have alt names they're sitting on and have never logged into. I dunno if that's allowed or something you'd consider accommodating, though.
