PC (Steam) version.

Found a debug room / test room in the 'contra_rc.exe+DC49E0' address, value 71 (4 bytes decimal) or 00000047 in hexadecimal.

It contains a nest enemy spawner. It spawns a single enemy. When you kill it, another appears until you kill the nest.
Contains a golden box too(empty), a car you can destroy, a zone with aerial camera and a bunch of structures without colliders too. Not very useful but interesting. There are some mentions in the strings to this missions if you search. His internal name is 'debug_testmission'.

I think this is interesting to document it in TCRF, but the game hasn't an entry on there yet. Greetings!
