| I'm working on a project with someone else and while we both want the same general thing, our goals are incompatible. I'm thinking of seeing the project through and then disassociating myself with it, but I could also use the money should he be willing to pay me a cut of the profits for admittedly not much work (just supplying him the prototype, and a little R&D on a single component and PR; very little stuff for what he admits was originally my project before he took the whole thing over), so... we'll see. If not, I have no problem not profiting off a guy who's kinda overcharging for the stuff he's selling. ____________________ |

Spent a good chunk of yesterday wasting time, trying to connect my web server to Amazon S3 so I could use S3 as file storage. But I had to use a library to connect to the thing, and the documentation was terrible and the results I was getting were different than expected.
In the end I thought "wouldn't it be better for me to just copy the files using ssh and host them in the server itself?". ... So that's what I did. Screw S3, it's not worth it. And honestly, so far, not really a fan of AWS. | So it turns out the reason everything was chunky-sized for my computer is because Otter defaults to 16-point font. So I brought that down to a reasonable size, 12 point, and everything's good now. Sorry to sofi for the inconvenience.
Also, I really need to shave myself. Also also, I enjoy bass but there comes a point you have enough bass; rattling people's lamps and shaking their bones, making them wonder if they're gonna get even more hearing damage when you drive down the five-lane avenue outside their house is far past that point. ____________________ |
