Man this new Android update sucks.

My battery life is worse and the while phone is laggier but the most annoying thing is that this update added rounded corners to the display! So it's like I'm using a goddamn Macintosh plus.

I paid for these 30 or so pixels but I guess they're just gonna be permanently black from now on wtf

android has been getting worse and worse for a while now, it's a shame there's no usable alternative other than ios

It's a 90 euro nokia that runs 'Android One' which means it only has google stuff and minimal branding.
Which means it's probably the least problematic stock rom to have on a phone. And it actually gets updated, for years. Which is incredibly uncommon for most android phones so, well, that's a plus.

But it STILL is laggy and slow as shit now because I guess my 2ghz processor is 'too slow and old' now. Like wtf. This hardware is incredibly complex yet it struggles to load texts? You kidding me?

Been thinking about e-paper displays and how it's a shame they haven't become more ubiquitous or cheaper.

So apparently there are something like five eink smartphones on the market right now, though only one of them has actually been released. Some of those look like vaporware that will never see the light of day. The ones that look closest to real seem to have the opinion that a person who wants an eink display doesn't want a web browser. They want to disconnect.

No bitch, I want more internet! I want my battery to last longer while I look at forums!
