Well, it's a well-known fact that Nintendo has never done anything to try to say, lock-out developers who don't get Nintendo approval... and has always been a big supporter of third-party devices for it's systems, and makes their platforms open... they're practically a non-profit, really.

Psh, it's just a teenage thing. If it isn't against parents, teenagers feel compelled to rebel against anything else acceptable: Companies, religions, inanimate objects, authority figures, etc.

Nothing much one can do about it but mention the truth in the matter, I.E. what's good and what's bad. In the end, I pick and choose what I buy from everybody on the basis of quality and how much I want it, rather than biases projected at me by people looking for something to hate.

Uh, all of them except Sony. Philips, Staples, and Microsoft have come fairly close due to DRM, ads from hell, and general suck respectively, but none of them have made it there yet.
