So when booting up the Scandinavian version of Gimmick! A "LICENSED BY NINTENDO" appears which was entirely absent in the original Japanese release, would it worth mentioning?

LICENSED BY NINTENDO was a mandatory addition by Nintendo of America for the NA region for third-party games, but I assume it also applied to PAL regions.
(something like, it had to be visible for at least two seconds at some point before game play can begin.
Typically they just added the text to the title screen but on the SNES there started to be more awkward changes to games to make them comply (since it was not required in Japan, where MOST OF THE SOFTWARE ORIGINATED. Brilliant thinking NoA ), such as sometimes disabling opening/title screen cutscene skipping, FF3 (6) fake title screen or Chrono Trigger double copyright notices during the title scene.)
