Well, today's the second day in a row that the temperature inside my office space has been over 30ºC (86ºF). It's ridiculous.

I've filled in an Accident/Incident Report Form complaining about it, but nothing much has happened. It's actually much much cooler outside, but I can't just go outside. I work on a Help Desk so I have to stay at my desk—callers don't know what the temperature is like here, they just expect the phone to be answered.

I'm going to go get icy poles later.

Stupid work.

Depends on what part of the 'office' you're in. It was 55F when I walked in ours this morning and colder on the floor. Usually it gets maintained at about 68F.

I normally keep my store between 70 and 65 degrees. My staff hates it when I have it under 69 degrees.

Yea, it's currently 60 or so in my house because I'm abstaining from the heating function currently. Worst it's been is 52 in here and that was when I was out like a light. Usually, though, it's around 65 or so.

During the summer I'll keep it around 78 or so. I conserve energy and my paycheck.

Our air-conditioning here just isn't working at all. It should be much cooler in here than it is.

The "chiller" on the air-conditioning wasn't on at all when I got here. They turned it on, but only for ten minutes, then they turned it off again. The only way to keep cool is to use a desk fan.

It's ½ the temperature outside and it's still this hot in here. It gets worse on warm days—and the temperature forecast for tomorrow is 39ºC (102.2ºF) !!

It was like this all of yesterday and it looks like it will be like it all of today too. And by tomorrow's forecast, it's only going to get worse.

If I recall correctly...you used to complain quite often if it got really cold beforel you went up north.

I swear, people down here are just wusses when it comes to that. I'm like...the only one not wearing a coat everywhere I go.

Do they set the temperature up at night? That'll help it from freezing, causing a lack of nice cool air. At night, we set ours at 70 to 72.

Nah, they don't set up anything with temperature here. The air-conditioner system turns on in the morning, so even when it's working it can take a while for the place to be a decent temperature.

But with one of the chillers on the air-conditioning being completely broken, and nobody doing anything about it.... it's pretty sucky in here right now.

The current temperature is 30ºC (86ºF).
The temperature outside is 20.1ºC (68.18ºF)

EDIT: I went to get ice cream for everyone. Mmm, yummy. That was very refreshing, but it's still very hot in here.

(rassle frassle)

I swear, it's gotta be 30ºF by my desk. Although it is right next to the windows, but still.

I've been having a similar problem with my room. It averages what I estimate must be ~15°C. If I turn the thermostat up, it gets comfortable but the rest of the house gets too hot and my stepmom of course proceeds to whine about it. The best solution so far has been to run a space heater in here as long as I'm in the room, but I hate to think of all the electricity being used... :-/

I don't know why I put this here.
I have no air conditioning or heating.

It gets 40 degrees here in the winter, and 110 in the Summer. (Farenheit, I'm an evil American)

Yeah.

So I can't really compare with you guys.

My landlady wanted to put the average temperature of my apartment (that I share with three other people) to 60 degrees F. I told her that was ridiculous and was able to ensure the average temperature was a 68 degrees, which also by the way is the temperature required by city law.

When I worked at my software company over the summer, my side of the building was cool but the other side of the building was roasting. I wonder if that is the case with Tarale's office space.

I have air-conditioning at home, which I'm very much grateful for. Especially for this weekend, as I've heard it will be 44ºC (111.2ºF).

Home is usually not too bad. If it's hot I can sleep in the lounge room on my futon. The air-conditioning gets that room the best so I can sleep quite well. Now that I've pulled the blinds down too, not a lot of heat is getting in.

I wish my car had air-conditioning. But it doesn't, it is evil.

Someone needs to give you some air conditioners, or fix them.

It's usually around 18ºC (65ºF) in the store that my family owns. Of course, that doesn't mean that it's the same temperature around the house, seeing as there is no heaters in the store.

At work it's been somewhat hotter than what we normally get. I don't mind, and my coworkers generally think it's cold, so they definitely don't mind.

Yay! It's much cooler today than it was yesterday! The air-conditioning is working much, much better.

I wasn't sure I was going to be able to handle it if it was going to be the same as yesterday.

It's usually 60-69F in here (around the 63 mark) usually, but we don't really mind Worst case, we just turn on a small boxheater
