Hi,

I was wondering how do you post pictures or screen shots on the forum? Is there an advanced layout that has an option to post a pic?

I have found some items such as unselectable, leftover characters in the SNES game Natsume Championship Wrestling. I have posted them on gamehacking.org & included a link to show that. Rather than doing that, is there a way to just post the pictures when I make a post to show it off?

I was also rooting through WWF Smackdown: Just Bring It using PS2DIS & found either unused characters or leftover character text from WWF Smackdown 2: Know Your Role. How would I go about posting the screen shots showing that?

Thanks for any help.

you'd have to put it in an HTML tag, for example adding

<img src="" />

to your post with the address of your image between the two quotation marks. you can't upload images to jul for posts.

Or you can use BBCode with [img].

The image needs to be a direct link to the image, not necessarily a web page that contains the image. Generally speaking, a direct link to an image will usually end in .png, .gif, .jpg or similar.

You can usually copy direct links to images by right-clicking on the image in question and clicking "Copy Image Location".

So instead of https://ibb.co/dDpHdY3, you'll want to use https://i.ibb.co/Tt0NV3n/WWF-Smackdown-JBI-Debra.png.

Most image providers (including imgbb if you scroll to the bottom of an image page) will contain helpful embed code that you can just copy and paste directly into your post (HTML or BBcode are both fine — Jul supports both).

If you just need to show people an image rather than having it be in your post, too, you can link to it like so:

[url=https://i.ibb.co/Tt0NV3n/WWF-Smackdown-JBI-Debra.png]Link text, put whatever you want here[/url]

Thanks to both of you. I managed to get it & was able to successfully post my screen shots. I had to use my Facebook profile to do it, but it works.

imgur is typically the picture host people use. Upload a pic, then right click on it and select "Copy Link", then use that as your image link.

I'd avoid imgur personally given how I never actually worked out how to upload an image through their site for some time :<

What site would you go for instead? Some folks like me do not yet have a website and even then, it is a lot of work to set up image/file uploading on your own site but still do-able.

That is so weird, it might be things have changed but there is that huge green button at the top left that would be had to go without seeing ;-;

Anyways, Yeah.
