Mozilla Firefox can be set to ask you about Cookies.
Go to your Preferences, then Privacy. Set "Keep until:" to "Ask me every time". If you want Exceptions that won't ask you each time, you can set them in Exceptions. ____________________ |

Rena I had one (1) message in Discord deleted and proceeded to make a huge, huge mess about how it was a violation of free speech and how moderators are supposed to be spam janitors and nobody should have the right to tell me not to talk about school shootings Level: 135 Posts: 2020/5390 EXP: 29075526 For next: 259479 Since: 07-22-07 Pronouns: he/him/whatever From: RSP Segment 6 Since last post: 342 days Last activity: 342 days |

Jul - Post #2020 - 01-02-08 01:27:00pm I thought I was the only one crazy enough to have this turned on. It can be a hassle at times (block them only to realize you need them), but it's nice to know when someone's trying to track me in secret. Block!
Also, I noticed it gives a decent measure of how shitty a site is before it's even loaded. The more random cookies it tries to set (especially if from external URLs), the shittier it's likely to be. ____________________ |

![]() CookieSafe Extension for firefox rocks.
It blocks cookies automatically unless you tell it not to, like how noscript does it. No more asking you do you want to block this cookie, just enable it for the sites you need and woohoo~ (Though, I may have to hack it a bit when I switch to firefox 3, all well.) Edit: Seems to have changed to CS Lite. ? here, I have not tried it yet however, I will have to update sooner or later so...____________________ ![]() ![]() |

At work I don't really care what happens with cookies. They track everything else I do here anyway. At home I know I have exceptions set up.
As for Internet Explorer, I need to use that at work for work applications, otherwise I agree that it should be avoided. ____________________ |
