not anytime soon, though I may pick it up before April for pax east so our group has something to play (at least two of us are deep in the rocket league hole)

Got it on Switch.

Especially nice with the recent patch too, I'd say - before I could really tell that things weren't being rendered at native resolution, but they really sharpened it up and it looks like the UI actually renders at native now. Funny how something like UI elements can make something super obvious, I guess.

Not getting the game but I have played this before on PS4. A simple fun concept, especially if you have someone else in the room to play with. In the short time I was playing, I was horrible with the controls. However, I get the appeal and I imagine it gets intense when players on both teams are competent with the controls.

it runs surprisingly well too. like i didn't feel as limited as i thought i would, and, well...

i was 14th in the world on switch in 3v3 standard for a hot minute!!!

i decided that i needed to throw in a couple of games today to keep my ranks from going stale--i had gotten demoted last time i played (week and a halfish ago?) with 10 out of 12 wins

i won two games in standard tonight, where each game got me 14 and 13 MMR/ELO points, respectively--for perspective, you get 8 points for winning an evenly matched game. the odds were not in our favor by any means

i only need one more champion-level win to secure the end of season 6 rewards and i'm so scared

just gonna wait until this weekend so i'm not playing while i'm tired as hell

second statement for me too. just lost interest in chasing/maintaining ranks

i'm significantly better than my friends so we put together a boss mode room where it was me vs the three of them and i won.. 3 out of 4 games? something like that

that was on switch though, and with sony finally OK'ing cross-platform so that we can have matches across any platform instead of this weird segmentation, i'd like to revisit the boss mode thing with me on PC so that my friends are, in a way, challenging me in my final form

Yea I'm no diamond rank but I'm definitely leading the pack with my small circle. 1v3's I've only done a few times but then I'll win and people won't wanna play anymore.

So usually it ends up being 2v2's and we're shuffling me out accordingly to make the ones that are obviously casual feel better.
