Just curious about something, does Street Fighter V still require online to play, even in single-player? If so, are the servers working better nowadays at least?

All I saw from it was the YandereDev compilation on YouTube and oh boy that was one unstable server.

Online works fine. I'm able to take on people all over the place.

Not required for offline but you won't get any stats or fight money and if you're a trophy hunter...well, you won't want to be one for this one.

breaking 47's arms was just training for the elusive target today

new elusive target dropped this week--ET's can be restarted as many times as you want as long as you haven't completed any objectives... in this case, there's one assassination and an item pickup--completing just one of either will lock you in. can't save at all during the ET mission either, so all your actions have consequences

this is the first time i went for a silent assassin, which means never being spotted by anyone, leaving any security camera recordings undeleted, allowing anyone to discover bodies, killing any non-targets, etc. didn't have to retry once, but it did take me a full hour

that was tense and i love it

The Appreciation Festival (for the one-year anniversary of the game's release) is currently halfway done in Monster Hunter World! I've only been playing during festivals... so I had a decent number of challenging event quests to catch up on this time. Arch-Tempered Lunastra, double Tempered Deviljho, Arch-Tempered Xeno'Jiivah... and now that it's all done, there's still the Greatest Jagras event which gives a bunch of armor decorations in the rewards, so I'm farming that too to try and get my third Mushroomancer and Focus decos before the event is swapped out tonight.

New-game-wise, though, Etrian Odyssey Nexus just came out! Gonna slowly go through it as usual (and hopefully not drop the game like I did with Etrian Odyssey 5 due to schoolwork...). Seems like there's an easter egg accessed by (among other requirements) owning 100+ Guild Cards plus recruiting at least one Guild Card guest character (and using 'em in a fight), and you can get cards by scanning people's shared QR codes, so I ended up making QR codes for all 22 members of my guild. Gotta start scanning a bunch!...

I started Kirby And The Amazing Mirror, which I'm enjoying quite a bit. :3 Did the boss for area 2, then 4, then 3 and I somehow found zone 9 too. I think I have yet to see 5-8.
(I do suck at it a bit though.)

Edit: I completed the game and it's great. Probably won't try to 100% it anymore. Now I don't have a game to play following up.

Still playing Disgaea 4's Vita version, just leveling up characters and such right now, tho there's still other post-game stuff to do.

Also started replaying the original Zelda: Link's Awakening after the remake for Switch was announced, and for the first time in a long time. I've just finished the 5th dungeon and completed the trading sequence, and I don't think I had to look anything up, either - things just came back to me naturally, like the trading sequence, key and dungeon locations, etc.

2nd time through the link to the past randomizer... new pb today!!!!

PB is still over 7 hours holy shit i thought i'd still have some of my afternoon left

i tried out the ocarina of time randomizer and nope

ocarina is negative amounts of fun because of how much of a chore it is to get around

i also just don't have the personal reverence/nostalgia for it as i do LTTP which might help

edit: did another run today since i had the day off, shaved nearly 3 hours off my last time

... but i also never found the stinky boots
