I dunno, is there any nutritional value in silica?

Well, today started out warm and bright, and has become cool and overcast and rainy.

The sun decided to come out yesterday and it was a really nice day here. Mid-70s (approx. 25 degrees for the Celsius users) is acceptable and perfect weather for me.

Nope. It says "DO NOT EAT" on those silica drying sachets in food packs for a reason.

We went full on humid dust storm up here. Hayfever season has started bombastically and I don't like it.

Yeah, it's gross here in the metro region too. I also hate it.

The kid did not get the memo about DO NOT EAT. Although there wasn't a sand poop so I'm guessing he only made out with the sand.

It's starting to heat up again, hopefully this is the last heat wave of 2018 here. These heat waves where I live are unpredictable on when they start and nobody knows when they'll end!

Hopefully he doesn't decide that dirt rocks

Today's just windy — up to 45mph winds. Probably going to be a dusty nightmare for the next few days.

Finally backing off here too. Constant rain -- only real gripe with that is that is makes skating hard, but I've been so busy lately I haven't had time...

It's "only" 78°F outside in the morning, so I guess it really is starting to cool down. It's nice not having to run the AC constantly during my commute in, though for now I still have to run it on the way home (still 95°F then).

Supposedly we might see some rain in the near future from the hurricane down in the Pacific, but I'm not counting on it.

It was supposed to rain several days of the past week or so, and at best it mildly sprinkled on one. Hooray, deserts.

On the bright side, it sure got a lot cooler. Went from being 80°F in the mornings to being a much more pleasant 62°F. It'd be nice if the seasons here were more than "A/C on 24/7" and "A/C off 24/7, windows open", but whatever

It's now winter, I guess. Genuinely it's been in the 30s the past few days. It even snowed a little bit today.

I kind of hate it? It's depression inducing. I dunno; if any heat haters wanna trade they're free to. I like it being cool, but not this cold and not so suddenly. If it was like in the 50s and 60s I'd be a lot less sad about it.

I can't believe it's gotten late November weather here today: it was rainy and damp all day. That's a sigh of relief from last week's very warm weather patterns that pop up every few years or so.

right now: depressing shito. all-gray sky, mild rain. this would be typical weather for the shithole, dunno how it's doing there right now...

atleast the bad shit seems to be over. it was mostly yesterday:

midday, it rained a shitton. was so bad that I had to close the blinds because it was raining against the window and coming through.

which was only minor inconvenience compared to what it's been in some places around. floods, roads destroyed, many people needing to be rescued or evacuated, ~10 dead...

I think that was the remains of the storm that hit Portugal...

it calmed down after that huge rain, but all day was on-and-off rain.

it's rained all week with a forecasting of probably a week more, which wasn't so bad but now it's also cold
which
actually just makes it harder to get out of bed in the morning more than anything eheh

Texas is always hot or cold, but never in between (and usually just hot). we got maybe a couple days of cool breeze and ~60F temps before it dropped a whole twenty more to where we are now, heh.

Overcast with some drizzling. Wind has died down, which is nice. A good day to play indoors.
