There was some YouTube channel that was live-streaming from 30 or so miles off the coast, and within a few hours the flag they had in view had been torn apart pretty badly. I haven't ever been in weather that severe, and I don't think I want to start any time soon.

I don't even think it was directly in the path as much as it was just nearby, so it wasn't even getting the worst of it.

Um yeah, this is pretty sad for me especially, since it's my last summer before high school totally ends. I'm gonna miss these days.

So far, the new school year is about as challenging as I expected it to be given the fact that I stupidly loaded up on ridiculously notorious AP courses, but so far things are actually sailing pretty smoothly. I think this is gonna be a good last year.

The only thing that's really made it feel like summer's coming to an end has been relative silence from the pool at our complex, and the fact that the sun is in my eyes when I drive home now It always feels really sudden, going from "daylight until 8 PM and later" to "sundown by 7" ...

But with summer gone, lower power bills finally arrive.
