That a hero'll come and save us all,
As we call the ones we left below,
We all dream of the day we rise above

Thinking I need a new non-Corsair PSU. This PSU and the last PSU I bought both developed a really annoying fan rattle. I replaced the last one when it evolved from just rattling to outright grinding, so to get two in a row that develop a rattle is quite annoying. Thing is, I don't know which companies produce reputable PSUs.

For all I know, fan rattles develop on everything.

I've been looking at weird 90s portable computers recently, mostly the ones from Psion. I'd like a Series 7 one day, or one of the earlier Netbooks (not the later Pro which ran Windows CE).

A personal image/file host. It's not physical technology, but I don't know how these work either.

For some reason I don't like being dependent on external sites for that stuff for the most part. Games aren't that much of an issue but then I wouldn't use, say, Itch.io to store various prototypes as I go along.

(And I don't mean to use it for storage so much as being able to link stuff, and also hopefully I'd be able to get URLs for a possible mood avatar.

I dump stuff on my own self-hosted server so that I don't have to worry about crap disappearing, but that's out of the scope for a lot of people.

In other news, my main videocard died so I guess that's on my "want list"
