| hey, i remembered this site again. i'm glad that this forum is still here. i use discord a lot, its just easy for me. it also allows me to feel some clout when i make one for a fun topic and it takes off. i like nintendo games a lot. i want a switch. i make music with friends and sometimes we get in a big enough mood to name ourselves. most of the time i spend my free time watching music videos or recorded concerts because thats what makes me happy. edit: heres something from the first time i posted here "Basically I found this place from searching "ROTTEL-DA-GOURMET-RACE (PAAAAAANNN!!! mix)" and found a simfile discussion thread. That was interesting to read. The design is interesting and from what I gather this board is individually coded, which is another cool thing. To sum it up, I get a good feeling from here, like I did from the oldish (early 2000s) starmen.net forums. I came not from mastadon, but similarly enough from Twitter-- more specifically I found this forums from Xkeeper's SMB2 disassembly, whom of which I found b/c of TCRF, and that, I found years ago because of... well, I suppose you get the idea ^^; Anyways I've poked my head around here for a day or two as a guest before deciding to join up because y'all seem like a pretty cool group of people er... as for myself, I make chiptune music (name a system, I've probably dabbled with it :p) and I like old consoles and games just in general. I used to be a big lurker but I've been expanding my internet presence in recent years. I'm studying IT, and other than games I enjoy the usual geeky sci fi and fantasy stuff as well as swimming. You'll obviously be credit for your work and whatever license you want on them (though it should obviously at the very least allow for people to use in non-commercial projects). I can't guarantee that anyone will use your tracks, but they would be easily avalible anyway.  ZC supports .nsf and .gbs mostly fine, but there are some issues. The FDS sound channel has limited support and some nsf files it just refuses to play. (I have no idea how you can fuck up tracker music playback tbh) .gbs files are mostly fully supported, but I have experienced a few times where certain sound channels are omitted, not quite sure why. Speaking of music for old systems, the WSC features one of my favourite OSTs! (I have all versions of the OST, the original and the one from each remake!): Riviera the Promised Land! | hey! my name's robin. i came through here after seeing xkeeper mention it on twitter a couple times (have been checking out TCRF for a while); it was in the back of my mind for a while until the past couple days when i finally signed up (and a couple more days until I actually posted this, orz). i usually kill time on twitter or thereabouts. i mostly just spend a lot of time sucking up and regurgitating as much information as humanly possible. sometimes make music, but I've been lazy about that for a while. i grew up on forums in the mid-late 00s (shout out Miniclip Club Penguin Forums forever and ever) and appreciate there's still a place, however small, for them. i love the setup this board is using, and the layout thing is like, really cool. at the same time the small amount of html and css i knew when i was 14 disappeared long ago and i'm insecure about my inability to whip something/anything up loooool anyway hello! also i'm gay  |
