For those who aren't aware, Mac OS 9.1 - 10.4.11 can boot up in QEMU now. It's starting to dethrone PearPC and appears to be more stable. It's still not perfect though, since it can only boot up certain versions of Mac OS 9.0.4 (and those aren't working as well as 9.1 and 9.2.x).

There's also a patch that allows one to switch resolutions and also allows booting up 10.0 and 10.1. A compiled version on eMaculation does have a version of QEMU 2.8pre with this already installed and working, but it's only for Mac OS X Intel right now.

I tried this recently, it seems to run pretty well with the exception of audio. Unfortunately my main use case is to run OS9 & games which can't run accurately on my PowerBook5,6 so for now it's not too useful to me. super cool though.

On PPC, but not on Intel. On PPC it was kinda slow but maybe it's better on modern hardware?
