did you guys know amish people use cell phones and other electronics? theyre pretty common around here and my sibling works at a local market in our town where lots of amish customers come in so i get to hear some stories. i saw one amish lady buy like 8 bags of cheese puffs. i am curious about what their internal lives are like. i enjoy living around them and getting to see their horses and other livestock. i greatly prefer a small town like this to the city.

PMs used to always be an indicator of some kind of upheaval (except on the rare forum I bought and sold stuff). Now I'd have no clue what was happening, considering there are so many other better ways to privately contact most of the regulars here.

Email sucks (mainly bc I rarely know the tone people want), and that I have to deal with pretty much daily.

Oh, and re: amish, I grew up living near a stricter sect of them, and they'd often drop by to pay for rides/phone use... It was pretty surreal honestly. I don't envy people stuck in groups like that.

i'd rather have a small community of good members than a large community with not-so-good members.

small community sounds nice, but what if it was a group of cool technology using ppl rather than techno-adverse ppl

I'm trying to find out what to do with a game idea. I have so many game ideas but I don't know how to pull them off. Think I'm repeating myself, if I am my apologies.

I think the best thing you can do with this is just try to figure out a small game idea that's something you can do; you'll get better with practice, the most important thing is to start rather than to have a perfect idea right away.

Follow your dreams. Make the art that makes you happy.

Just look at me; I haven't drawn a person in years.

I wish I could draw like a lot of people, but the best I can do are stick figures of people in which everyone looks the same. I haven't drawn in years either. Q said it best in which you should follow your dreams.

I agree, just do what you want. I almost never draw men either. I can't draw animals either though, so you're up on me.

I haven't actually watched a whole WWE event in probably close to 15 years.

It's fun to watch some of the clips but the camera work is just horrendous these days. It feels like it's nothing but smash zoom, shakycam, rapid cuts, and like the camera operators are mimicking the moves as they happen.

That all being said I'd probably watch a modern event if it involved smelling what The Rock is cooking.

I haven't watched WWE in like 3 or four years. I wouldn't necessarily mind watching but I'm pretty done with them as a company at this point in time.

that one startup announced their service to upload brains to servers right after he died, too. perhaps he was the first person to do so and that's why he died.

Today while orgazing a bunch of stuff on my PC, CCleaner found and cleaned a total of 1GB worth of cached files alone. Holy macaroni and cheese, how the hell did I have that much cache??? I simply can't, I don't understand. Has it been accumulating this entire time? Did Vivaldi never actually clear it properly or something??

Whatever it was, glad it's gone now!

I'm hoping I could get back to feeling like I actually got enough sleep.

If you haven't already, don't forget to clear out your temp folder as well. Once I had no idea why my hard drive was almost full then realized I had over 35GB in there.
