squirrels are cool. they are less common in many parts of the world, so ppl coming to the American continent can be shocked by the large population of them

One time when walking out of my dorm I passed by a squirrel which was holding and eating most of a McDonald's cheeseburger someone had thrown away. I regret not taking a picture but I still appreciate that squirrel to this day

Growing up, I lived in a place where squirrels were pretty rare (except for prairie dogs, but I still didn't get to see very many of them, and they're not really what people usually mean when they say "squirrels" anyway).

I recently moved somewhere that has squirrels everywhere, though. I often see a few of them every day. I have grown to appreciate them and their bushy tails very much.

I once considered speedrunning Skunny: Save Our Pizzas for laughs but I can't even really get past that first harp enemy. Who is standing on top of a wall and has a height advantage, so most of the time you just hit him from the side and get knocked down. Over and over. And that's when you aren't getting bombarded by the explosive music notes.

one time there was a squirrel that'd always come by and eat peanuts that my roommates affectionately nicknamed "Peanut"

they'd interact with my roommate's cat a lot but usually that'd just end in the cat being scared off by Peanut

what i'm saying is that squirrels are powerful creatures

There are a couple squirrels rummaging around in the trees by where I live. I have no idea what they're doing but I see them often during the morning-early afternoon.
