i guess i'll post in this silly lil thread, cuz i feel like it and i've been pretty active lately

hi i'm rachel, and i'm a 27-year-old trans girl. i'm originally from missouri, but i ended up in colorado because i got tired of racism and tornadoes and now all my friends make fun of my pin/pen merger accent

i am in a relationship with a wonderful girl who i live with and love very much. i also have three roommates and one (dumbass) cat

my dreams kind of are to make cool things: weird hobbyist web design-y web pages & video games & music, but instead my dreams are probably being shelved rn so i can make pizza or sandwiches for a living so some rich guy can make money off me

for a long time i was very deeply involved with a Zelda fangame engine called Zelda Classic, and you can find the dumb stuff i made here. i kinda stopped being involved at some point, partly because fangames stopped being interesting to me. i don't really show people a lot of the weird half-finished web design or programming things i've made, and i am honestly horribly embarrassed about showing anyone my music.

my most recent main hobby was speedrunning (my main game was A Link to the Past in which i had a 1:29, with the occasional Super Metroid, The Legend of Zelda, Link's Awakening DX, and Super Mario 64 on the side), but i kind of have moved past that owing to me not really getting along with the community at large, along with just getting kind of tired of the hobby itself.

rn i think my biggest hobby is pretending to be a cartoon witch girl on the internet

here's a list of silly things i really like/am passionate about:

- video games (old and new, but especially old)
- lots of weird music (that i'm generally embarrassed to talk about because it's too weird for half the people i meet and not hip enough for the other half)
- old computer stuff (old OSes especially, but i'd like to get into hardware too at some point)
- the pre-social media internet (1990-2008 or so), i'm also really into weird experimental web design/"artsy" web pages
- anime on occasion (but i'm bad about actually finishing it)
- anything aesthetically weird/cute/cool or otherwise happens to catch my interest

I'm a programmer of various trades, web design and game programming mostly. I formerly went by "Inuyasha" until I got tired of ripping my name and characteristics off of an anime character. (That name's still down in the footer of this site, though.) I formerly did work for a Sonic the Hedgehog fangame that you may very well have heard of. I also have a public portfolio of my work up on my website, if you're curious, though it isn't a complete list by any means.

As the previous post may have hinted out, I run my own Mastodon instance and use it to break things be special with cool features very few people have since I programmed them myself.

Hello, I am HatryBerliners, though more known as Harney-Barrow. Some people I know just informally call me 'Harnie' online.
I got notified of this forum by when I shortly followed Xkeeper on Twitter and Mastodon/General Fediverse a week or two ago, and then they mentioned that they run a forum of some kind. I don't really know too much about this sphere of influence, though I do like The Cutting Room Floor from the numerous times that I've browsed it over the years.

I do some general music stuff, plus some hobby game development. I'll likely link them whenever I get the chance. I'm also pretty big on F/OSS and decentralized stuff as a whole.

URIs must be properly escaped, they must not contain unescaped
