I'd download it, but I already have Avast!, and it is free. Nice find though. Flash isn't really that much to worry about, and download sites like that are often used as mirrors or hosts for music files made by musicians who can't afford full-blown sites. Take them away and there's be a lot less Remixes around, Hyperhacker. ____________________

Well that's why you use a free web host, not a free file host. They still suck, but generally will let you actually download the file, only having to put up with linking to a page with some ads on it instead of directly to the file. As opposed to these shitastic file hosting sites where you're lucky to spend only 5 minutes trying to get them to let you download anything.
Anyway, requiring Flash is reason enough not to bother, but even if I do enable it, it still doesn't work.

Yeah, not like I was pointing out that both links are unusable to those who don't want to deal with Megaupload's bullshit or keep hitting Refresh for half an hour until they finally get into the FTP. I mean, I'm sure I'm the only one who would appreciate not having to jump through a bunch of hoops to download a fucking file. External smilies ftw

The files of music often overload the bandwidth of free hosting, and are expensive to host on paid ones. The only free hosting I've seen used for remixes is often Google, and it likes to break. Far moreso than free file uploaders. Of course, some free file sites suck more than others, and none of them are "great", but they're better suited for large, often-downloaded files anyway. So the real mistake with that 'mirror' is it wasn't on another one of the hosts, one of them or two I know to be very accomodating. ____________________

There are much better file upload sites than megaupload and rapidshit (savefile anyone?) that don't force you to wait 45-90 seconds before letting you download, and don't have a horribly small download speed limit.

I'll give AVG professional a look to see if it's worth installing. I've survived with no antivirus so far without getting infected, so I'm not sure if this is something that would help me.
