I was with you for that first part, but no, pepperoni pizza is excellent. EXCELLENT. Also, always there for me when I can't make decisions.

Pepperoni pizza is like Coke or Pepsi. Relatively inoffensive and boring, but usually acceptable everywhere.

You can do better. Throw some olives on it or something.

Pepperoni pizza is greasy trash. At least use salami instead!

i keep wavering on my opinion of pepperoni pizza, but it’s decidedly not in the 好物 column of foods.

why didn’t prosciutto become the dominant topping? now there’s a cured meat i can get behind.

anyway what’s this about the EU? i was pretty sure i didn’t click on this thread to read about pizza.

I would, but somebody stole it all.

I've had pineapple on pizza, and it was pretty inoffensive, but not something I particularly liked. I mostly ate pepperoni pizza (decent) and spinach and feta pizza (very good) growing up, but I've been expanding my pizza horizons in the past few years.

Black olives and jalapeños are a personal favorite. I've also had supreme pizza, BBQ chicken pizza, sausage and sriracha, and others. They were all pretty nice, actually, but I'm still looking to try other varieties

I'm okay with both pineapple pizza and pepperoni pizza. You need to add something other than just pepperoni though -- bacon is good, but it needs to be proper bacon that's been diced and not just boring old store-bought bacon crumbles.

Something I had in Maui once that I absolutely loved was pineapple in burritos.

One of my more interesting orders was chicken, onion, jalapeno, and olive. And some tomato, maybe, or green peppers or something..

That actually came out pretty nicely, though uh. Rather hot.

Pineapple in steak or chicken fajitas is also extremely good. Same for pretty much anything involving beef (not pizza though)

I've been alternating between (marinara, mozzarella, pepperoni, bacon, and black olives) and (garlic butter, mozzarella, cheddar, and parmesan) lately. The latter is more of a once in a while thing because while the former isn't healthy by any stretch at least it doesn't make me feel like I need to go run a marathon afterwards to offset it.

Aww, poor pepperoni. It's OK, I still love you.

Seriously though, I kind of get where you're coming from, but on the other hand, a really good pepperoni pizza, just the simplicity of those ingredients, can be really wonderful.

A bad pepperoni pizza sucks though.

pepperoni is ok!!!!!!!

i don't generalllllllllly think it's too greasy even unless it's some gross chain pizza

but i also think there's more interesting meats and/or combining pepperoni with like a couple other good toppings is better. but also i think one cool thing about pepperoni by itself is you can get a pretty good sense for like the general quality of a pizza place with a Just Pepperoni pizza.

i'm making it sound like i'm some pizza connoisseur here
i swear i'm not

If it makes you feel any better, I loathe mushrooms.

I'm not a very fungi.

The worst pizzas are the ones that are just completely fucking coated in grease. A little bit is okay, sure, but when it's literally pooling on my plate in a big ugly orange mass, eugh.

You can enjoy it, if you like. I just think the owner is poisonous. (And that the pizza is bad, of course.)

They tended towards giving me 50% off coupons for a while, but their menu prices were already absurd that it just made feel them normal-priced.

Is a calzone still a calzone if it doesn't have any fillings?

I mean, we have a wish sandwich, but...?
