Just amendment after amendment full of bullshit. “If we have marriage equality, charities might get in trouble!” WHAT YOU MEAN LIKE THE SALVOS? BECAUSE THEY FUCKING WELL SHOULD. “If we have marriage equality, a celebrant in the military might have to marry somebody they don’t like!” Ughhhhhhhhhhh. It was satisfying that none passed, but frustrating to see them waste so much time, all the while pissing and moaning that Labor aren’t going to have a conscience vote on any of their bigoted bullshit.
