Pineapple on pizza was a thing in my hometown thirty years ago. I remember my siblings and I used to go to a local pizza joint that sold them. We didn't order any but they were still semi-popular.

tbh i vastly prefer trolling people over durian & made this meme fusing the two concepts once that went viral on Facebook (particularly Malaysian FB, it seems) about it:

if you ever feel like acquiring a taste for it (tbh it makes farts and gasoline smell less bad to you actually), start w/ something mild like durian ice cream or durian popsicle. baked goods are good too!

If you weren't all the way across the country, I'd totally recommend you to an old co-worker of mine at the car lot I spent some time at. He helped me get something that wouldn't break the bank and I've been recommending people to him. Basically, car dealership guy without so much of the car dealership bullshit. Good luck on the car, man!

I gotta get a new starter cable in my car before I go to the convention. More money than I want to spend right now, but I'd like to make sure my car actually starts properly and I don't have to have it towed again. Thankfully it was only like, two minutes down the road and roadside assistance helped me out with it, but still.
