| I have on me some rare Quake 1 betas (in fact, all the ones listed on TCRF.) They are about 7mb too big to upload, and I don't even know how to edit properly quite yet. How do I upload these so the readers can access them? They are not illegal, just nobody ever updates their links. |

All two of them. I've uploaded Qtest1 already. I'm not sure if Beta 3 can be uploaded due to it being nearly identical to the final release. I'll try to get the Doom protos up too.

It's not that identical, and ID never takes down beta versions. It's basically a demo. No mirrors of it were ever taken down for copyright and ID has never made a statement regarding beta 3. We can only assume that it is free to share with those with the craving for unreleased content such as myself. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ |
