Sorry in advance since i'm new here.
When using VisualboyAdvance to attempt to cheat to other levels i found an empty level but only have a basic idea of how to get back there.
By using the first 3 Levels (Yoshi's Island 1 + 2 and Yoshi's House) you can find Mario's X position:
Yoshi's Island 1= 3
Yoshi's House=6
Yoshi's Island 2=9
When you find the value first go to yoshi' house and change it to 18, when you choose the level you'll go to an unwinnable level with no items/enemies.
P.s. You need Yoshi because you start under the floor.
Also does a level with a Sign that shows a Yoshi with a Cross through get used at all, it works like castles and ghost houses making mario dismount yoshi but it is for ordinary levels. its not in the snes version.

Is What I found another possibly cut level then? Has it already been found? The Weird thing about this one is its an exact clone of one of the levels just with the unused 'Dismount Yoshi Part'. And Has anyone confirmed the other Possibly Cut/debug Level?

Sorry for Bringing this back up but i noticed that are alot of 'Unseen' things other than 'Cut' stuff in TCRF so if i got a Picture of the Level in the Background in the File Load Screen and show which part of the level that isn't usually seen under usual circumstances would it fit in the wiki?
P.s. The Test Room can still be reached in-game by using a code to trick the Star Road Warps into thinking they're levels (The background is messed up though).

Normally, yes, that would be something we'd be interested in. However, considering it's basically a port of Super Mario World, I imagine it's exactly the same as SMW's title screen background, which is in turn based on an existing level. With that taken into account, it's hardly worth mentioning.

If you really want to look for unused content in Super Mario Advance 2, I recommend first getting very familiar with Super Mario World (and its TCRF article) first. That way you know what is new and what is just leftover from the original.

The Level is in SMW but the fact that its an entire level is not mention in either article. Maybe Someone just Forgot or are you telling me that if its not in the Super Mario World article, put it in and Leave the Super Mario Advance 2 as it is?
And what do you mean by existing because its not playable without codes?
Here's how to see the one i'm talking about:
1.Open SMA2 (Eu) in Emulator
2.Start New Game
3.Get Yoshi
4.Go to Yoshi's House on the Level Select.
5. Change the Value at 030042B4 to 18.
6. Don't Move and Select Level
7. You Should be in the Level.

If someone would check it would be good + I'm Very Familiar with the Snes Game.

And it's not mentioned in the SMW article because there is nothing to mention. The only past the edge of the camera is 16 more blocks worth of ground. That's it.

One time I had an Yellow Yoshi with White Shoes (GBA Version). But it is really old, I didn't was from beta and unused stuff yet. Also, I didn't even had time to take photos (it was on real GBA). However, it was kinda awesome secret/bug that happened. And I still know how that happened (a bit).
->Go to Forest Map and select the third level.
->Advance the level and die in some hole.
*I think it's might be an developer secret, like, have specific points, lifes, yoshi coins, etc.*
It's on the GBA version... Not sure if it's possible to see HEX Coding to discover how the system works..

I looked into the game a bit and found that level numbers and how level numbers are handled on submaps is the exact same as in the SNES version. However, changing any or all of the values had no effect on what level loads. So the only way I can think of to easily load any level at will is to first figure out where in the map/submap RAM (or ROM) a level's value is, which is way more work than I am willing to do right now. But, I might look into it more later. Much later.

As the game is just a modified port, SMW Central and their wiki will probably help quite a bit.

You can load the title screen in Lunar Magic just like you'd load any other level. In fact, I did it before I made my previous post just so I could see what was past the camera. It's level C7.

Please disregard the fact that I literally just made an account so I could necro a 5-year-old post.


The level that you experienced is in fact NOT the title screen level, nor is it Groovy. It’s impossible to get to the title screen level (lunar magic C7) because of the way Super Mario World (And SMA2) loads the overworld. The way Lunar Magic handles levels is completely different than the original game.

In the original game, every time the overworld is loaded the game scans from the top left corner for level tiles. Once it hits a level tile, it’s designated as 1, and then 2, and so on. This is done in quadrants, and this same process is done in the submap, only that it starts at 101 instead. It’s because of this way SMW handles overworld levels that you cannot get to the title screen level from the overworld.

The level tile you stumbled upon isn’t Groovy. It’s a copy that is used in a cutscene after you collect all 96 exit goals. For some reason, all the new levels in cutscenes in Super Mario Advance 2 are all levels you can enter from the overworld. The opening cutscene where Mario and Luigi fly over many enemies is in a level accessible from the overworld (it’s the vanilla dome star warp tile).

The location of this so-called “ghost groovy” is in the unused red switch palace in the Valley of Bowser. Yes, there’s an unused switch palace. The level tile was originally a TEST level, but was used for that Ghost Groovy level.
Fun fact, you can actually reach this level without the use of any tools. Using the map glitch, you can enter this level (and that other opening cutscene level) without using any hacks. You can even do this on a real GBA!

What you’ve stumbled upon is actually something unique so congratulations on that.
