Im definitely curious about this game, and I think this might be a good learning experience. I mean that file has to do with the specific area somehow, and I can always base it off an area that actually works.

Worse comes to worse Ill build a bin without the file and see what it breaks.

Yeah sorry, I lost my tools I was using when I upgraded to win10, whoops. Yeah if the tim viewer doesn't work I think you can wing it with tile molester and find them as well (Im still learning how to use that effectively as well)

Also if possible could you just scan the page instead of taking a picture? The full page/article would be nice as well.

How is that a scan? It's clearly a website. It even has a website link that's highlighted in blue and underline. And that screenshot isn't of the missing village in gameplay, it looks like it's just a still shot of the FMV that's been screenshotted and terribly shrunk. None of this is making sense.

Edit: And the text is lifted straight from the wikipedia page for it!
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tomba!

Seriously, what's the point of faking this? Because you think making up a magazine scan will somehow magically make a prototype appear? This is just ridiculous.

I already know how to view TIM and CLUT files. The GAM files used by this game contain CLUT data, but it does not appear to be in a standard format.

I know you're just trying to be helpful, but you need to understand that many of us have years of experience hacking and documenting games like this, and you're not really providing any information that we didn't already have. We know how to use emulators, debuggers, and data extraction tools. We've already dumped and explored all of the available demos. Any further discoveries at this point are likely going to require disassembling and reverse-engineering the game's program and data files, which can be a complex and time-consuming task. Unless you can somehow manage to track down an actual prototype (not demo) disc of this game, I suggest you just sit back and wait quietly for any further developments.

You need to play around with the codec, window size, byte offset, and a few other settings. I don't remember exactly what they need to be set to. There might be some guides online with the right information.

I've been digging for the wdemo disc and i found the disc, not the magazine.I give the iso later. It features tombi! PAL demo that seems the same to Others

EDIT 2:@puddinpops i picked up the magazine image from a website and this website is fake so,its not my fault!

Edit 3:I picking screens from the video and reconstructing the village in a image, let's see the final result (FAIL)

EDIT4:Is possible with the tool that i have to convert:tim to bmp and bmp to tim,so is difficult.ALL ,All,ALL the day, from 7:56 to 20:21 im searching for prototype disc and i found....Nothing

So this website only just existed a couple days ago and now suddenly doesn't exist at all?

FYI, from my searching on the internet, that's never been a valid website ever. It's not archived on archive.org, and typing it into the address bar brings up the same thing you get when you type in a name of a website that's never existed such as websitedontexistandyouarelying.com.

Just admit you made all of this up and be done with it. I don't get why you're trying to keep up with this facade.

I told you to stop posting multiple times in a row, and yet you just posted three times in a row.

You posted a fake picture from a website that never existed, and then told us to close the thread (!) in an attempt to save face.

You keep telling us about tools and resources that we already know about, or are irrelevant (how would Net Yaroze development books help us find unused content in a commercial game?).

Your layout is a giant eyesore that takes up the entirety of my laptop's screen for a single post.

Please stop posting in this thread.
