I find 24 December 2007 far easier to read than 12-24-07, let alone the fact that "month day year" is badly ordered and just plain stupid.

I miss the feature from the board2 software that lets you set your own time and date format.

Any chance of getting it back?

How about making the format depend on timezone offset then?

Or at least make it so that GMT (-5) and CET (-6) has 24 Dec 2007 (j M Y), and everywhere else has 12-24-07 (m-d-y)

I'm sure I'm not the only European here who would appreciate this.

It's somewhat easy a feature to set, however Xkeeper is the busy sort so it'd be something I'd forsee a year in the future.

Good feature idea though, I think I'll implement it in my own stuff, actually.

And, based on timezone? Haha, no. I'll get around to implementing it, but it can't honestly be that difficult to read dates differently.

The way board2 did it was fine, although it was in the format PHP uses for date() (so you had to know how to use it, not like it's hard anyway) ...

At least it's not like ||board where the date format is like "Tue 25 Dec 2007 04:09:19 AM EST" (not bad, just long)
